Every month at the Steve Allen Theater here in Los Angeles, animation historian Jerry Beck puts on a show called “Cartoon Dump”. It stars Frank Conniff aka “TVs Frank” from “Mystery Science Theater 3000″ and comedienne Erica Doering. They do a live comedy show with music and the worst animated cartoons ever. Everyone has lots of fun and I wanted to draw a sketch of the gang including “Cue Card Goddess” Kristin Arrigo on the left. Frank sits in the garbage bin as “Moodsy Owl” and on the far right is Erica Doering as “Compost Brite”. On the floor is Jerry Beck. People love this sketch but I wanted to do something Frazetta like so I can do better. I’ll post the finished work here. Stay tuned.
